Pru Gordon - General Manager, Economics and Trade

Pru Gordon

Pru joined the NFF as General Manger Trade and Economics with over 20 years of trade policy experience. This includes four years as an adviser then senior adviser to two Federal trade ministers and 8 years with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Pru spent 3 years as a diplomat posted to the Trade Branch of the Australian Embassy where she worked on the US Farm Bill, US-China trade and explaining Australian agriculture to US farmers. She has worked on a range of trade and economic issues including Australia's economic relationship with China, FTA negotiations and implementation, and multilateral trade institutions and negotiations.

Pru holds a Bachelor of Arts, Honours, in History from the University of NSW and a Master of Arts in International Relations from the Australian National University. Pru lives on a (very) small, unproductive property in Murrumbateman.
