GrainGrowers joins NFF

The National Farmers’ Federation (NFF) has today announced that GrainGrowers Limited has joined the national peak farm body as a Commodity Council Member.
NFF President Jock Laurie said that GrainGrowers has been providing leadership and grower-focused services to the grains industry for over four decades.
“Today, the NFF is pleased to welcome GrainGrowers into the NFF family,” Mr Laurie said.
“The NFF exists to provide a united voice for farmers in agricultural policy development, lobbying, advocacy and debate on a national level. Today, we are a step closer to achieving this for the Australian grains industry,” Mr Laurie said.
The grains industry is one of the largest agricultural industries in Australia, with over 25,000 grain growers and a contribution of some $10 billion in gross agricultural value to the economy in the past year.
