Claims NFF is involved in IR advertising push are ‘wrong’

“MEDIA reports claiming the National Farmers’ Federation (NFF) has agreed to fund an advertising campaign on workplace relations are wrong,” NFF President David Crombie categorically stated today. “The NFF is not involved in any way, shape or form, and we have made that clear to those parties seeking support.
“While the NFF is a strong advocate of workplace relations reform – and has been for over 25 years – our position on the IR policies of both major political parties is that we reserve the right to publicly comment and advocate on behalf of Australian farmers, as we deem necessary.
“The NFF will do so, in a manner of our choosing, when and as we see fit. The NFF Board has made the decision not to support an IR advertising campaign at this time. Reports suggesting otherwise, are incorrect.”
