Manager - Public Affairs

Australia's peak national farm advocacy body, the National Farmers' Federation (NFF), based in Canberra, is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the full-time role of Manager, Public Affairs. Reporting to the CEO, the Manager, Public Affairs works closely with the NFF's senior executive team, including the President, Vice-President, Board, Members' Council, CEO and Policy Managers.

This senior role is multi-faceted, but primarily develops and implements influential public relations and communications programs to raise awareness of, and build support for, NFF issues, policy positions and the role and contribution of modern farming.

Extensive communications experience in journalism and public affairs, preferably with industry bodies, as well as event management experience, and demonstrated high-level strategic thinking and a proven background in driving communication campaigns is essential.
