Australia’s peak national farm advocacy body, the National Farmers’ Federation (NFF), based in Canberra, is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Manager, Public Affairs. The NFF represents farmers, and more broadly, agriculture across Australia.
Reporting to the CEO, the Manager, Public Affairs works closely with the NFF’s senior executive team, including the President, Vice-President, Board, Members’ Council, CEO and Policy Managers.
This senior role is multi-faceted, but primarily develops and implements influential public relations and communications programs to raise awareness of, and build support for, NFF issues, policy positions and the role and contribution of modern farming.
Ideally, you will have extensive communications experience in journalism and public affairs, preferably with industry bodies. You will be a strategic thinker and a proven driver of communication campaigns.
