New NFF board elected: Christine Rolfe new Vice-President

Elections for all Board Directors of the National Farmers’ Federation (NFF) have taken place at the NFF’s annual AGM and Members’ Council meeting in Canberra today.
Following the election of Brent Finlay to the position of NFF President, Queensland beef producer, Christine Rolfe, has today been elected as NFF Vice-President. Ms Rolfe, of Springsure, is the Vice President/Treasurer for AgForce Queensland, following terms as state councillor, vice president and regional president for AgForce Central Queensland.
Three former NFF Board Directors have been reappointed to their positions: NSW mixed farmer and grazier, and President of the NSW Farmers’ Association, Fiona Simson; Victorian mixed farmer and grazier, and President of the Victorian Farmers Federation, Peter Tuohey; and Queensland grain and beef producer, and President of AgForce Queensland, Ian Burnett.
Two new Board Directors have today also been elected: Victorian mixed farmer and grazier and Victorian Farmers’ Federation Vice-President David Jochinke; and NSW ricegrower and President of the Ricegrowers’ Association of Australia, Les Gordon.
Incoming President Brent Finlay today paid tribute to outgoing Board Directors, outgoing NFF President Duncan Fraser and former Chair of CANEGROWERS Alf Cristaudo, for their outstanding service to the NFF and to Australian farmers.
